Like most people, I enjoy bitching about my job. Clueless managers,
unrealistic expectations, impossible deadlines, blah, blah, blah.
Every now and then I need to remind myself that things aren't
really so bad. So I put together a visual reminder of how much better my life
is since the web.
PXL8 is the web site of Michele
Tranquilli. It serves multiple purposes:
as a portfolio/resume, project board, personal outlet, contact
point for friends and family members.
The sites in the portfolio section represent the work of Michele
Tranquilli under the employ of various
companies, not PXL8.
The site was designed to work with DOM compliant browsers. Why?
I've spent the past several years writing mostly DOM-compliant
code and I am continually impressed by what can be accomplished
with browsers that support the DOM. I wanted to apply what I've
learned to my own site and pass along some of the knowledge I've
gained.
Those of you using anything earlier than Netscape 6 or IE5 are
out of luck and should consider upgrading. Those of you using
AOL's browser need to be smacked upside the head.
