LIFE AND THE WEB

Like most people, I enjoy bitching about my job. Clueless managers, unrealistic expectations, impossible deadlines, blah, blah, blah.

Every now and then I need to remind myself that things aren't really so bad. So I put together a visual reminder of how much better my life is since the web.

ABOUT PXL8

PXL8 is the web site of Michele Tranquilli. It serves multiple purposes: as a portfolio/resume, project board, personal outlet, contact point for friends and family members.

The site was designed to work with DOM compliant browsers. Why? I've spent years writing mostly DOM-compliant code and I am continually impressed by what can be accomplished with browsers that support the DOM. I wanted to apply what I've learned to my own site and pass along some of the knowledge I've gained.

Those of you using anything earlier than Netscape 6 or IE5 are out of luck and should consider upgrading. Those of you using AOL's browser need to be smacked upside the head.
